April 23, 2024 (Williamstown, ON) — Char-Lan District High School is thrilled to invite the community to an electrifying evening of music at the Char-Lan Recreation Centre on Thursday, May 9. The event, Rok the Rek, promises an unforgettable performance by the school's acclaimed band, Clanstock.
Attendees will hear a selection of songs including crowd-pleasing covers by renowned artists Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N' Roses, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and more.
The festivities begin outside with a BBQ starting at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy live performances by talented musicians from Glengarry District High School, Char-Lan alumni and current students, setting the stage for the main concert inside the arena. In addition to musical entertainment, attendees can browse and purchase exclusive event merchandise. T-shirts and concert posters will be available, ensuring everyone can take home a piece of this memorable occasion.
Tickets for "Rok the Rek" are available for $5 and can be purchased in advance at the main office of Char-Lan District High School or at the door on the day of the event. Don't miss out on this spectacular showcase of talent and camaraderie as the community comes together for an evening of music, food, and fun. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Glengarry Mental Health.
