Wellness
Supports and Resources
The health and safety of our students and families are
priorities in our district. We are committed to continuing to support
wellness during the Learn at Home period. The
support we are able to provide at a distance will be different, but not less
important.
Your child’s school continues to be one point of contact for asking questions
about maintaining wellness and securing supports during school closures. School
teams are able to seek assistance from a variety of UCDSB personnel with
expertise in mental health as well as being connected to community
partners. All staff are committed to helping you and your family towards
the most appropriate and available supports, inside and outside of the Board.
It is important to note that resources are also posted on
our Board
Website, in our Virtual
Learning Commons, and relayed via social media and other communication
channels. These resources provide tips and strategies, as well as
information on community agencies available for more intensive support.
Note: Community services continue to be available to families even if
their service delivery methods are slightly different at this time.
This page will be regularly updated
with communication, resources and links that may provide additional supports
to students and families. Please check back regularly.
